Our Bedfordshire based client is looking for a temporary Fundraising and Communications Officer to join a small and friendly team within the charity sector. The ideal candidate will have previous fundraising and communications experience with excellent attention to detail. This is a temporary opportunity, starting on the 4th January with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous fundraising, communications or similar background for at least 2 years
- Editing, updating, and maintaining website content
- Able to use social media and post management tools, such as Facebook and Twitter effectively
- Understanding of the wellbeing needs of people with mental health needs.
Initially an ongoing temporary assignment, to start ASAP and paying between £12 and £15 per hour plus holiday pay. This is a full time opportunity, working 37 hours per week.
This position will be working from home in the longer term, however, the initial training period will take place from their offices near Bedford.
