Job Description

Anne Jagger Recruitment in Witney are working with a successful and prestigious business within the leisure sector. We are recruiting for a permanent Operations Assistant / Business Support Administrator to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated with a can-do attitude and have an ability to build strong relationships, communicate well and be able to work to tight deadlines. In addition you will need to think fast, work proactively and always keep on top of things whilst working in a dynamic environment. 

Key responsibilities include;

  • Work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of the office.
  • Be the key point of contact in the office.  Answering the main office telephone, relaying messages to all members of staff.
  • Organising and distributing office post.
  • Maintaining office equipment and procuring new equipment and stationery as and when required.
  • Providing additional administration support to other areas of the business as and when required.
  • Efficiently manage all clothing orders and enquiries, exchanges, and returns.
  • Ensuring the clothing website is kept up to date with stock levels, sizing details etc.
  • Monitor the ‘Contact Us’ email inbox.
  • Work alongside the Operations Manager to grow the Ambassador Programme including Social Media presence, regular newsletters to help raise awareness.
  • Support the Operations Manager to ensure all Memberships are updated and renewed appropriated
  • Be a central point of contact for all Membership administration enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be self-motivated and driven. Previous experience working within a customer focused role and/or the leisure sector would be a distinct advantage.

The annual salary for this opportunity is £18,000 to £25,000 depending on skills and experience.  The working hours are 9am to 5.30pm (37.5) Monday to Friday.
