Job Description

We are seeking a fluent German and English speaking Customer Care Agent for our client, a multinational business in the luxury beauty and cosmetics industry. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, customer centric, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a passion for all things beauty, and speak fluent German, English and preferably one other language. (Spanish/French/Italian)

The successful candidate will oversee the support and service to the German market, whilst also assisting in other markets/languages as needs require.

RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Communicate promptly with customers by phone or email.
  • Assisting Independent Sales Representatives.
  • Deal with complaints where necessary and handle difficult scenarios with professionalism.
  • Processing orders and returns.
  • Ensure that accurate customer data is captured and logged.
  • Being aware of the individual and departments weekly KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
  • Assist in developing department procedures & policies.
  • Assist in ad-hoc translation and copywriting.
  • Assist in ad-hoc project work to improve the Customer Experience or assisting in events.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Experience in Customer Service.
  • Fluent in business level German and English, written and spoken. A third language is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Reliable and consistent.
  • Excellent eye for detail and good organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills: Windows, Excel, Word, Data input, Outlook. Use of Zendesk or similar systems is an advantage.

Salary is £28,000 to £30,000 negotiable depending on language skills and experience. Generous product discount is available and a great team working environment.

Once COVID has eased this role will be flexible working with our offices based in Central London, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am-5.30pm. (37.5 hours a week).
