Job Description

Our client is an international business specialising in Leisure and Hospitality.  We are seeking an experienced French speaking Customer Support Advisor (hybrid and remote working options available).

Paying £13 per hour the role will initially be on a 6 months temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent.  The hours are 8am to 4.30pm working every other weekend or 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis and 2 days off the following week.

As a Customer Support Advisor you will undertake a variety of duties from troubleshooting technical issues to investigating in-depth, complex cases where your mediation and negotiation skills will be called upon to deliver a high level of resolution. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handle English and French inbound/outbound calls/emails or chats 
  • Identify and resolve customers’ requests/questions or complaints using relevant knowledge
  • Communicate and consult with colleagues to share best practice.
  • Follow best practice incident management processes to ensure the KPIs are met.
  • Escalate complex tickets to 2nd tier support and follow up for resolution

Skills & Experience:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English & French, is essential
  • Customer oriented, enthusiastic, courteous, assertive and motivated to take charge of both customer engagement and problem resolution
  • Proven experience in a Customer Service position 
  • Ability to apply analytical and investigative skills 
  • A team player who is positive, friendly and has a can-do attitude
  • Confident and competent in handling complaints, mediation and troubleshooting 
  • Experience within the travel, tourism or hospitality sector an advantage but not essential
